Anna Jackson, Printmaker and Textile Artist.
Printmaking has always been my passion since majoring in Printmaking and Sculpture at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. For me, it never loses it’s spontaneity and I am always excited to see the outcome of every print.
My prints and vessels feature forms from nature. Leaves are my motif of the endlessly and varied detail nature is even in something so humble and numerous as a leaf. My work aims to evoke texture, colour and organic shapes and remind us of the pleasures of a personal connection with our natural environment.
I regularly hold print workshops at my Camberwell studio at Vanguard Court. My aim is to share my enjoyment of being creative and show you that you can start printing anywhere with minimal equipment and space. You can learn an Introduction to Screenprinting, Metallic Foiling and other easy and effective textile printing techniques.
Please join my mailing list to be informed of dates for my of printing workshops this summer.
